History of Pro Loco Vittorio Veneto
On June 1, 1940, the first General Assembly of Members was held in the Municipality, where it was decided to approve the Statute that marked the birth of an Association named "Pro Vittorio Veneto."
The Association’s purpose and mission were to develop and enhance various aspects of the city's life.
In the year 2000, Pro Vittorio became part of the Primavera del Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco circuit by organizing an exhibition with tastings of the wines from the Conegliano and Valdobbiadene hills, expanding the event to include grappas and red wines as well.
In December 2004, Aldo Buosi was elected President along with a new Board of Directors, and in April 2005, the Association permanently moved into its headquarters on Viale Trento e Trieste. The Association’s strategy also shifted, increasing its commitment to organizing events and promotional activities for the region.
In 2008, the Association changed its name and Statute, becoming the Pro Loco of Vittorio Veneto.Aldo Buosi was confirmed as President along with a new Board of Directors.
In 2009, as part of the Primavera del Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco, the Pro Loco organized Vini in Loggia,an event that proved to be a great success: alongside the wine exhibition and tastings, there were musical evenings with various bands and a food stand serving local dishes. The event took place in the Loggia dei Grani in Minucci Square, within the prestigious historic center of Serravalle.
In 2011, the region's promotional activities were consolidated with the organization of events such as Città e il Fiore, Vini in Loggia, Palio delle Botti, and the Santa Augusta Hill Climb. The Association also collaborated in organizing the Carnival festival and other activities, as well as managing the Tourist Office and the Train Station Ticket Office.
